The ice cream bean tree. This is a large fast growing tree with spreading branches, and attractive flowers. A nitrogen fixing tree, and a good choice to interplant with other subtropicals. Can be used for chop and drop mulching. It produces large velvety pods which contain a sweet pulp that looks like candy floss and tastes like vanilla icecream
