A fast growing, thorny tree, can grow up to 5m+ if not pruned.  The small orange fruit are sour-sweet, packed with vitamen C, and best left on the tree until fully ripe to maximise the sweetness.  Wonderful for jam, chutney and fruit cocktails.  
 
Position
Grows best in full sun, in free draining soil.  Will also cope with some shade.

Protect from frost and wind when young.
