A treat for rare plant collectors, this slow growing plant is a labour of love and will require the best of care.  
 
Needs warmth and shelter, and is probably best not planted out until 1m tall - which will take a few years.  
 
The fruit of these trees are usually sour, but these seeds came from a tree which has given consistently sweet fruit for 20 years, so fingers crossed when you get that far!
 
Grows to 5-6m
 
Position 
Best kept in a suitable pot in a greenhouse until at least 1m tall.  Slow growing.  Will do best in a sunny and warm location that is sheltered from the wind and cold drafts. Can tolerate light frosts when mature.
 
Care 
Protect from frost when young. Will not cope well with prolonged drought.
 
All plants are in a 3.5l recycleable plastic pot, unless shown otherwise.
